This project entailed the redesign of the logo for BW's Center for Innovation & Growth, an organization that encourages connectivity and innovation.
The process began with logo design ideas that incorporated thinking, which I represented with gears. For these initial concepts, I maintained the same teal and orange colors that were being used in the current logo.
As I progressed in the development process, the client decided they wanted something that looked more technological and simple. They liked the color scheme of blue and green, as well as the use of a gradient. The gradient did not transfer well as different file types.
The final logo for the Center of Innovation & Growth ended up becoming very dynamic and abstract. In the logo you can see the letters "CIG," and I worked to make all of the elements look a lot more connected.
Dark gray and bold orange are used for the color scheme because of the way they contrast each other. Avenir Regular and Bold are the fonts utilized in the logo because it is professional, but not too formal, and easy to read regardless of the logo size.
